Gabriel Moraes Silva

Gabriel Moraes Silva is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, Technical University of Denmark (DTU), affiliated with the KT Consortium and Center for Energy Resources Engineering (CERE). His research focuses on theoretical electrolyte thermodynamics and electrostatic phenomena in solution systems.

His primary research examines the mathematical foundations of electrolyte theories, particularly investigating limitations in Debye-Hückel approximations, concentration-dependent permittivity effects, and dielectric saturation in the Born equation. This work bridges chemical engineering and physical chemistry through rigorous thermodynamic modeling of ionic solutions, with applications in energy resource engineering.
