Professor Gabriel Główka, PhD, is the current Dean of the Collegium of Business Administration at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH). He has held academic and administrative roles since 2006, including Director of the Institute of Corporate Finances and Investments (2016–2024) and Deputy Dean (2012–2020). His research focuses on real estate market dynamics, mortgage banking, and financial instruments for real estate investments, with a particular emphasis on price bubbles and systemic stability.
Education: Graduate of SGH Warsaw School of Economics' Faculty of Production Economics, with doctoral and post-doctoral degrees in finance. Professional experience includes senior roles at ING Bank Śląski, ING Bank Hipoteczny, and Bank BGŻ S.A., specializing in mortgage banking and risk management.
Research Interests: Span real estate market analysis, mortgage systems, financialization of housing markets, and policy implications of housing bubbles. He has authored numerous publications on these topics, including co-authored works like Przedsiębiorstwo w zrównoważonym rozwoju (2023) and Price Bubbles in the Real Estate Markets (2022).
Awards: Recipient of the Gold Cross of Merit, Honorary medal for banking contributions, and Medal of the National Education Commission. Professional roles include membership in the Supervisory Board of ERBUD S.A. and the State Qualification Committee for real estate valuation.
Teaching: Offers courses on real estate markets, mortgage banking, and investment financing, combining academic rigor with practical insights from his banking career.
