Gabriel Ferreyra

Gabriel Ferreyra, Ph.D. is a faculty member at the School of Criminal Justice and Criminalistics within California State University, Los Angeles. He holds a Ph.D. in Justice Studies from Arizona State University, an M.A. in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and a B.A. in Philosophy from Universidad Michoacana. His teaching portfolio includes courses on Judicial Organization, Multiculturalism in the Criminal Justice System, Written Communication in Criminal Justice, and Ethics and Professional Responsibility.

His pedagogical philosophy emphasizes critical thinking and holistic understanding of criminal justice systems, aiming to empower students to interpret societal challenges through innovative and interdisciplinary frameworks. He is affiliated with the Hertzberg-Davis Forensic Science Center and serves the university through teaching, advising, scholarship, and community engagement.
