Gabe Condon is an Assistant Professor of Music at Hamilton College, specializing in jazz, guitar, composition, and jazz pedagogy with a focus on European Sinti communities. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Michigan and earned both his B.M. and M.M. in jazz and contemporary media from the Eastman School of Music.
His research explores the intersection of Constructivist learning theory and jazz education within marginalized European communities. Condon has received prestigious awards including the DAAD German Academic Exchange Grant (2022) and multiple Downbeat Magazine Student Music Awards.
