Gaabriel Tavits is a Professor in Social Law at the University of Tartu, Faculty of Social Sciences, School of Law. He holds a Doctor's Degree (2001) and Magister Juris (1996) from the University of Tartu, Faculty of Law. His academic career spans roles as Associate Professor in Labour and Social Security Law (2003–2016) before becoming a Professor in Social Law (2016–present).
