Dr. G.C. (Ginny) Farias Galdames is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Science, Utrecht University, affiliated with the Cell Biology, Neurobiology and Biophysics research group. Her work focuses on the dynamics of cellular organelles in neurons, particularly the interactions between the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and lysosomes, mechanisms of polarized protein secretion, and organelle transport.
