G. Dodd Denton

Professor G. Dodd Denton serves as Deputy Director of Student Affairs at The University of Queensland’s Ochsner Clinical School in New Orleans. He holds an MD from the University of Mississippi and an MPH from Johns Hopkins University, with board certification in internal medicine. His career includes 23 years of military service as a general internist, retiring as a Captain in 2012. He is recognized for leadership in medical education, having served as Chief Resident at the National Naval Medical Center and President of the Clerkship Directors in Internal Medicine (2017).
