Prof. Dr. Füsun Türetken is a Professor at the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design (HfG) in the Department of Design. She also holds a Senior Lecturer position at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague (KABK) in the Department of Graphic Design since 2013.

Research Focus: Her work bridges architecture, visual culture, and media philosophy through transdisciplinary methodologies. Key themes include materiality, urban conflict, spatial justice, and the intersection of digital media with physical environments. She examines how metal and industrial materials shape socio-political dynamics, often in post-industrial contexts.
Exhibition History: Featured in STUK Leuven (2018), Impakt Festival (2017), BAK Utrecht (2017), Gothenburg Biennale (2013), and Venice Biennale (2006, 2008). Her projects often address contemporary urban conditions and institutional critique.
