Furkan Soy serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology within the Faculty of Medicine, specializing in orthopedic surgery with emphasis on hip and knee pathologies, pediatric orthopedics, and trauma management. Dr. Soy's research focuses on developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH), meniscal disorders, Haglund deformity, and osteonecrosis. He investigates vitamin D deficiency in Turkish populations, biomarkers for ACL injuries, and reliability of online orthopedic information. His work includes bibliometric analyses of Turkish orthopedic literature and public health interventions for DDH in Kirikkale province.
