Fuqun Huang

Fuqun Huang is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Western Washington University. She founded the interdisciplinary research area Software Defect Defense based on Human Errors, focusing on cognitive mechanisms of software defects, defect prevention, early forecasting, diversity design, and detection using human error theories. Her work bridges Cognitive Science, Software Engineering, and Education.

• Principal Investigator at University of Coimbra (2021-2023).
• Founder & President of the Institute of Interdisciplinary Scientists (2016-present).
