Frøydis Lønborg Haarberg is a PhD Fellow at the Centre for Research on Discretion and Paternalism (University of Bergen). She holds a Master’s Degree in Sociology from the University of Oslo and previously worked as an organizational consultant in the Welfare Alliance, focusing on an inclusive welfare state and rights of voluntary groups. Her research focuses on child protection systems, children’s rights, social policy, organizational behavior in welfare contexts, and legal frameworks. She is currently on parental leave.
