Frode Lerum Boasson is an Associate Professor at the Department of Language and Literature within the Faculty of Humanities at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). His research focuses on Norwegian literature from the 19th century, particularly the works of Knut Hamsun, exploring how literature intersects with history, geography, politics, and media. He leads the ImagiNation 1814–1905 project, which examines geographical representations in Norwegian literature and utilizes digital humanities methods to analyze historical print culture.
