Fritz Allhoff is a Professor in the Department of Philosophy at Western Michigan University, concurrently serving as a Community Professor in the Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine’s Medical Ethics, Humanities, and Law program. He holds a J.D. (magna cum laude) from the University of Michigan Law School, a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a B.S. from the College of William & Mary. His research focuses on applied ethics, ethical theory, and philosophy of law, with notable work on cyber warfare ethics, medical error accountability, and just war theory.
