Friederike Sigler is a Professor of Contemporary Art at the College of Art History, University of Vienna, since 2025. Her research examines the intersections of contemporary art with societal structures, focusing on care work, fascism reception, and the New Right's influence on artistic practices. She collaborates with Dr. Kathrin Rottmann (Ruhr University Bochum) on projects analyzing authoritarian aesthetics and decolonial perspectives in art.
