Prof. Dr. Friederike Faust is a Junior Professor at the Institute for Cultural Anthropology/European Ethnology at the University of Göttingen since October 2023. Her work bridges political and legal anthropology with critical engagement in gender studies, prison systems, and social movements.

She invites thesis proposals on her research areas and employs ethnographic fieldwork with a focus on collaborative, reflexive methodologies.
