Friederike Dobutowitsch

Dr. Friederike Dobutowitsch is a research-active scholar at Leuphana University of Lüneburg specialising in the didactics of the German language. Acting repeatedly as scientific project manager, she has acquired and led four major externally-funded projects (2014-2021) that interrogate multilingualism at university, teacher preparation for diverse classrooms, and the integration of newly arrived pupils.

Research interests revolve around three inter-locking themes: (i) multilingual everyday life in higher-education settings, (ii) practical-phase design in teacher education, and (iii) language education policy that views social plurality as a learning opportunity.
