Friedemann Pestel

Friedemann Pestel serves as Senior Lecturer in Modern European History at the University of Freiburg, where he has taught continuously since 2013 and completed his habilitation in 2022. His academic foundation includes historical studies, French literature, and educational sciences at the University of Jena and École normale supérieure in Paris.
