Fride Haram Klykken

Fride Haram Klykken is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Centre for the Science of Learning & Technology (SLATE) at the University of Bergen. She leads the Delta i Data! project for advancing data and AI literacies through game-based learning and contributes to the EU Erasmus+ DALI project as a Work Package leader. Her research integrates sociomaterial theories, qualitative methods, and video ethnography to explore embodied and spatial dimensions of classroom practices.

• Research Interests: Game-based learning for data literacy, research ethics (continuous consent), sociomaterial perspectives, digital technologies in education, art and media pedagogy.
• Projects: Project leader for Delta i Data!, work package leader in DALI, and team member of EduTrust AI.

Research Trends in her publications highlight analog-digital hybrid pedagogies, ethical frameworks for data literacy, and sociomaterial analyses of classroom dynamics. She emphasizes social connection in learning, contextualizing data literacy, and teacher-student relationality.

Grants & Collaborations include funding from the Trond Mohn Foundation and the EU Erasmus+ program. She collaborates with institutions in Italy, Spain, and Norway, including Vestland County Council.
