Prof. Fredrik Hacklin is a Professor of Entrepreneurship at Vlerick Business School and Managing Director of the Corporate Innovation Lab. He holds a faculty position (PD) at ETH Zurich's D-MTEC (Department of Management, Technology, and Entrepreneurship). His research focuses on strategic entrepreneurship, innovation, and digital disruption, particularly in high-tech and ICT industries. He has held visiting roles at Stanford, Imperial College, and others. His work explores industry convergence and its strategic implications, with notable publications like Management of Convergence in Innovation. Awards include the Nokia–AlcatelLucent Foundation Award and recognition from Stanford. Educated at ETH Zurich (PhD), KTH (MSc), and RWTH Aachen (BSc), he teaches courses on entrepreneurship and innovation at both undergraduate and graduate levels. His work integrates management theory with practical challenges in convergent industries.
