Dr. Fredrik Bryntesson serves as Associate Professor of Biology and chairs the Science Department at Bryn Athyn College, where he directs faculty development. Research focuses on ornithological history and conservation, particularly historical documentation of the Ivory-billed Woodpecker. Current investigations utilize archival materials to reconstruct historical distributions and conservation efforts for this potentially extinct species.
