Fredrik Andersen is Associate Professor specializing in philosophical foundations of evidence evaluation and policy development. His research examines causal inference methodologies in health sciences, underdetermination problems in evidence-based policy, and conceptual frameworks for ethical decision-making. Current projects investigate explanatory approaches to clinical guidelines development, particularly for substance use disorders.
He teaches philosophy of science, research ethics, and social education courses. His pedagogical approach emphasizes critical analysis of scientific reasoning and ethical dimensions of evidence interpretation across disciplines including healthcare, education, and public policy.
