Professor Frederick Tam is a leading academic in renal medicine at Imperial College London's Faculty of Medicine. He holds the Ken and Mary Minton Chair of Renal Medicine within the Department of Immunology and Inflammation, and is actively involved in translational research networks including the Transplantation Translational Research Group.

Professor Tam leads international clinical trials and has established the Diabetic Nephropathy Translational Research Consortium with Dr. Andrew Frankel.
