Dr. Umar Farooq serves as Associate Professor in the Division of Nephrology within the Department of Medicine at The Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. His clinical practice focuses on chronic kidney diseases, home dialysis, glomerulonephritis, living donation, and resistant hypertension, while concurrently leading clinical trials targeting diabetic nephropathy and membranous nephropathy.
