Frederick Neuhouser is the Viola Manderfeld Professor of German and Professor of Philosophy at Barnard College, Columbia University. He has held faculty positions at Cornell University, the University of California–San Diego, and Harvard University, and has been affiliated with the Center for Psychoanalytic Training at Columbia University. He has also served as a Visiting Professor of Philosophy at Goethe-Universität Frankfurt.
