Frederick Daenen is a postdoctoral researcher at the End-Of-Life Care Research Group of Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) since March 2023, focusing on palliative care integration in clinical settings. He holds a PhD in Psychology from Ghent University (2022) and master’s degrees in Psychology: Theory & Research (2017) and Philosophy (2015) from KU Leuven. His work spans pain-related injustice mechanisms in children, advance care planning, and existential care for COPD patients.
