Freddy Odille

Freddy Odille is a Research Director at Inserm and Professor at Université de Lorraine, where he serves as Deputy Head of the IADI laboratory. His research develops novel MRI techniques for moving organs, cardiac electrophysiology applications, and advanced image reconstruction methods.

Dr. Odille earned his engineering degree from ENSEM and PhD from Université de Lorraine, with postdoctoral training at University College London. He holds accreditation to supervise research (HDR) and was promoted to Research Director in 2023.

His work focuses on overcoming motion artifacts in MRI through innovative acquisition and reconstruction algorithms, with applications in cardiac, breast, and abdominal imaging. Current projects integrate ECG mapping with MRI for improved cardiac intervention guidance.

Dr. Odille co-founded Epsidy to translate high-density ECG technology and leads research on proteolytic mechanisms in disease. He serves on scientific panels for France Life Imaging and Inserm, overseeing technology transfer from basic research to clinical practice.
