Dr. Fred Millán is a Distinguished Service Professor of Psychology and Director of the Graduate Mental Health Counseling Program at SUNY Old Westbury. He holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University, with specialization in counseling diverse ethnic groups. His roles include Chair of the American Psychological Association Ethics Committee and President of the National Latino/a Psychological Association. He maintains a part-time private practice in Spanish and English, focusing on clinical supervision for psychology trainees.
