Fred Kwong

Dr. Fred Kwong serves as an adjunct faculty member at Roosevelt University and Benedictine University while holding the role of Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at DeVry University. He has over 20 years of experience in information security across education, finance, telecommunications, healthcare, and insurance sectors. His professional expertise includes leadership in cybersecurity, risk management, and technology governance.

Dr. Kwong earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Professional Communications, and his Master of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Roosevelt University. He holds a Doctorate in Organization Development from Benedictine University. He is certified in CISSP, CISA, CISM, CDPE, PCIP, PMP, and ITILv3f.

His research and professional interests focus on advancing cybersecurity practices, leadership in technology-driven environments, and organizational development. He actively contributes to national security forums as a speaker and consultant.
