Fred Butler Jr., MPH, MBA, serves as a Faculty Affiliate at Harvard Medical School, bringing more than 23 years of leadership experience in public health, federal program management, and healthcare transformation. His career spans service as a member of the US Navy, the US Public Health Service, and as a federal civil servant where he managed over $1 billion in federal contracts and grants.

Research and Program Interests: Butler’s work centers on large-scale healthcare improvement initiatives, national public health program design, and collaborative quality-improvement networks.
