معرفی
Fraser Tull is a Research Fellow at BehaviourWorks Australia (BWA), located within the Monash Sustainable Development Institute at Monash University. As an applied behavioural scientist, he leverages social science methodologies to design and evaluate interventions that drive positive outcomes in health, environmental sustainability, and regulatory compliance. His collaborative research supports government and industry stakeholders in addressing complex societal challenges.
Education:
- Bachelor Degree (Hons) in Psychology, Monash University
- PhD in Preventative Medicine, Monash University
Fraser's research focuses on developing and evaluating behaviour change strategies across multiple domains. His work in health includes improving immunisation rates and addressing antimicrobial resistance, while his environmental research spans waste reduction, energy conservation, and sustainable consumption. He frequently employs formative research methods such as literature reviews, surveys, interviews, and observational studies to identify barriers and enablers to desired behaviours.
His recent publications reflect a strong trend in applying behavioural science to real-world problems, particularly in public health and environmental sustainability. Key themes include plastic consumption, hospital waste recycling, food waste, and vaccination uptake. These works demonstrate a consistent use of systematic reviews, intervention evaluations, and policy-relevant frameworks.
Scientific Awards:
- One behaviour at a time - transforming the work of Industry through the "Applying Behavioural Science to Create Change" micro-credential (2023)
Fraser has been actively involved in numerous research projects as a Chief Investigator, often collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and external partners. Although there is no explicit mention of student supervision or grant leadership, his role in major projects indicates significant research responsibility. He contributes to knowledge translation through reports, peer-reviewed articles, and public engagement, including media features on behavioural interventions like HPV vaccine promotion.
He is a core member of BehaviourWorks Australia, a leading applied behavioural science team focused on generating evidence-based solutions for social, environmental, and health challenges. The team works closely with government agencies and industry partners to pilot, evaluate, and scale effective interventions.
