Franziska Olm is a Postdoctoral Fellow affiliated with Lund University and the StemTherapy national initiative on stem cells for regenerative therapy. Her research focuses on lung transplantation, ex vivo lung models, and regenerative medicine, contributing to advancements in diagnostics and therapeutic strategies for post-transplant complications.
Research trends from her publications indicate expertise in Lung Transplantation, Ex Vivo Lung Perfusion, Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury, and Tissue Remodeling. Recent work explores fungal colonization impacts, mitochondrial xenotransplantation, and biomarker discovery in exhaled breath particles.
She serves as an assistant supervisor for dissertations on Biomarkers in exhaled air for lung disease and Immunomodulation using in vivo and ex vivo lung models, collaborating with teams led by Prof. Sten Lindstedt.
