معرفی
Franz Aschl is an Associate Professor at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), affiliated with the Department of Mathematics within the School of Computation, Information and Technology. His research focuses on mathematical biology, chronobiology, and dynamical systems applied to medicine and ecology. He holds the Associate Professorship of Applied Mathematics in Ecology and Medicine under Prof. Müller.
Research interests include circadian rhythm modeling, entrainment dynamics, and mathematical approaches to understanding biological oscillators. He actively participates in international conferences, presenting work on topics like jet lag symptom dynamics and circadian clock synchronization mechanisms. His teaching responsibilities include leading courses such as Mathematical Models in Biology and Applications of Mathematical Biology.
Aschl collaborates with research groups like Kuttler and Zimmer, and his office is located in MI building 06, 2nd floor. He is part of the Analysis and Mathematical Biology group at TUM, engaged in interdisciplinary projects linking mathematics with life sciences.
