Franka Pues is a doctoral researcher in international criminal law at King’s College London, supervised by Dr Nicola Palmer and Professor Philippa Webb. Since 2021, she serves as a Graduate Fellow at the Yeoh Tiong Lay Centre for Politics, Philosophy and Law, and previously taught as a visiting lecturer in Transnational and International Criminal Law until 2022. Her PhD research focuses on evidentiary challenges in international crimes prosecutions, particularly regarding AI-derived social media evidence.

Research Interests: Her work intersects criminal procedural frameworks, international criminal law, and comparative legal systems, with a focus on modern evidentiary dilemmas. She explores how emerging technologies like AI reshape evidence admissibility in transnational legal contexts.
Affiliations: She also works as a Legal Researcher at Pogust Goodhead in London, contributing to practical legal research alongside her academic pursuits.
