Frank Weyen is an Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Protestant Theology, University of Münster, since 2024, and a private lecturer there since 2021. He also holds a private lecturer position at the University of Zurich since 2015.
Education:
- Doctorate in Theology (Dr. theol.) with distinction from University of Vienna (2011), developed in collaboration with Wilfried Engemann.
- Habilitation at the University of Münster (2021) in Practical Theology.
Research Interests span Practical Theology, Church Theory, and the intersection of Religious Education with Digital Modernity. His work explores homiletics, pastoral theology, church development, and fundraising in religious contexts. He emphasizes integrating social work studies into theological frameworks.
Publications focus on structural and financial transformations in Protestant congregations, digital communication of the Gospel, and modern cultural practices in religious education. His work bridges theological cybernetics and oikodomics with practical ecclesiastical applications.
