Frank Sullivan

Frank Sullivan is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Fine Arts at the University of Maine at Presque Isle, teaching BFA Painting and Drawing courses while directing the Reed Art Gallery and University Art Collection.

His educational background includes:

• B.A. in Visual Arts from College of the Holy Cross (1986)
• Fellowship in Graduate Fine Arts at The American University (Printmaking specialization)
• Graphic Design and Illustration studies at School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston

Sullivan's practice spans painting, drawing, printmaking, and graphic design, with extensive solo/group exhibitions across Maine, Massachusetts, and the U.S. Hundreds of works reside in private collections. His interdisciplinary approach integrates visual art with written reflection, culminating in the 2024 book 'Images & Words' featuring 31 paintings and process essays.
