Frank Sicheri is a Professor in the Departments of Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics at the University of Toronto, specializing in the structural biology of eukaryotic signal transduction. His research leverages x-ray crystallography and biochemical methods to investigate protein kinase regulation, focusing on structural mechanisms of catalytic switching, substrate recognition, and downstream phosphoregulatory processes. Recent work extends to ubiquitin-directed proteolysis, with implications for drug development targeting human diseases.
