Dr. Frank Sainsbury is an Associate Professor and ARC Future Fellow at Griffith University's Institute for Biomedicine and Glycomics within Griffith Sciences. His research focuses on physical virology and synthetic biology, specifically using protein engineering and biophysical techniques to study protein self-assembly for scientific and technological applications.
His academic journey includes a PhD at the John Innes Centre (UK), postdoctoral research at Laval University (Canada), and an ARC Early Career Fellowship at the University of Queensland before joining Griffith University in 2019.
