Frank M. Zimmermann

Frank M. Zimmermann is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at Rutgers University, a member of the Graduate Faculty, and part of the Condensed Matter Experiment and Experimental Surface Science research groups. His laboratory (NPL204) focuses on experimental surface physics, particularly laser-induced thermal/photochemical processes, including desorption, dissociation, and reaction dynamics of adsorbed molecules. Research employs quantum-state-resolved laser spectroscopy and ultra-short femtosecond laser pulses to probe surface dynamics in real time.
