Frank L. H. Wolfs

Prof. Frank L. H. Wolfs is a Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Rochester. His research focuses on experimental particle physics, particularly in dark matter detection using advanced xenon-based detectors. He leads the LUX-ZEPLIN (LZ) experiment, responsible for trigger electronics development and calibration systems. His group has contributed to the Zeplin II (Boulby Mine, UK) and LUX (Sanford Underground Research Facility, South Dakota) projects, advancing detector technologies for underground physics.
