Frank Dobbin is the Henry Ford II Professor of the Social Sciences at Harvard University, specializing in comparative/historical sociology, organizational theory, economic sociology, public policy, and stratification. His research focuses on organizations, inequality, and the social construction of economic rationality. He holds a B.A. from Oberlin College (1980) and a Ph.D. from Stanford University (1987).
