Frandelia Moore is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Program Director in the Department of Applied Psychology at New York University (NYU), within the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. She specializes in counseling education, focusing on trauma-informed practices and social justice advocacy. Dr. Moore’s work integrates multicultural perspectives across her teaching and clinical supervision roles in both residential and online master’s programs.
Her clinical background includes 20 years in child and adolescent mental health services, with expertise in trauma assessment, systemic oppression impacts, and marginalized communities of color. She holds a Psy.D in psychology and has served as a lecturer and administrator in trauma-focused systems.
