Francoise Noel is retired part-time faculty in the Faculty of Arts and Science at Nipissing University. She holds a BA from University of Alberta, and MA and PhD from McGill University.
Her historical research focuses on Canadian social and cultural history, particularly family life, community dynamics, and local history in Ontario. She has published scholarly books on family and community life in northeastern Ontario.
