Franco D. Rossi

Franco D. Rossi is a Lecturer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), specializing in archaeology with a focus on the interplay between materials and cultural development. His research emphasizes ancient technologies, sustainable city-building, and the application of archaeological insights to contemporary challenges. He currently collaborates with MIT's Center for Materials Research in Archaeology and Ethnology (CMRAE) and leads projects exploring limestone as a sustainable building material through Paleolithic studies in southern Italy.

Education: PhD in Archaeology from Boston University.
