Franck Cochoy

Franck Cochoy is Professor of Sociology at the University of Toulouse Jean Jaurès and a member of LISST-CNRS, a leading interdisciplinary research laboratory in social sciences. He is also a Senior Fellow of the Institut Universitaire de France, a prestigious recognition of academic excellence.

His research lies at the intersection of economic sociology and science and technology studies (STS), focusing on the sociotechnical dynamics of markets. His current work investigates the market for aluminum in architecture and disposable hygiene products, including feminine care items and sanitary masks, exploring how such markets are socially and materially constructed.
