Francisco Mitropoulos

Francisco Mitropoulos is a Professor and Director of Computing in the Department of Computing at Nova Southeastern University's College of Computing & Engineering. He has been affiliated with the institution since 1995 and holds memberships in IEEE, Upsilon Pi Epsilon (UPE), and the ACM. His research focuses on software engineering methodologies, programming languages, compiler theory, aspect-oriented development, and mobile application design. Dr. Mitropoulos completed his doctoral studies at NSU, with dissertation research centered on software engineering principles.

Research interests include data structures and algorithms, requirements engineering, and data mining applications. His work bridges theoretical computer science with practical software development challenges.
