Francisco Medina

Francisco Medina is an Associate Professor in the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), specializing in Additive Manufacturing (AM) and electron beam powder bed fusion technology (Electron Beam Melting). With over 18 years of experience, he has educated over 1,000 scientists and engineers in metal AM technologies, processes, and advanced applications. His work focuses on accelerating the manufacturing readiness of metal AM, and he has contributed to over 120 peer-reviewed publications and holds nine additive manufacturing patents with several pending.
