Carolin Körner

Professor Carolin Körner holds the Chair of Materials Science (Materials Science and Technology of Metals) at the Department of Materials Science within the Faculty of Engineering at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU). Her research focuses on advanced manufacturing technologies, particularly electron beam powder bed fusion for metallic components. She leads a significant research group with numerous collaborators and doctoral students working on additive manufacturing processes.
