Francisco Marcos

Francisco Marcos is a Professor of Law at IE University (2023–present), previously serving as Associate Professor (2002–2023). He holds a law degree from Universidad de Oviedo (1993), an LLM from UC Berkeley (1995), and a PhD from Universitá degli Studi di Bologna (1998). His research focuses on competition law, economic regulation, and judicial review of antitrust decisions. He has advised governments globally on market regulation and served as General Director of Competition Policy at Madrid's Regional Antitrust Authority (2006–2009).
