معرفی
Francisca Lottersberger is an Associate Professor and Docent at Linköping University's Department of Biomedical and Clinical Sciences (BKV), affiliated with the Division of Molecular Medicine and Virology. Her research focuses on genome integrity maintenance, particularly chromatin mobility's role in DNA repair and cancer development. She leads a laboratory investigating DDR pathways to develop diagnostic and therapeutic tools for cancer.
Education & Career:
- Master's degree, University of Milano-Bicocca, Italy (2002)
- PhD, University of Milano-Bicocca, Italy (2006)
- Postdoctoral research at University of Milano-Bicocca (2006) and The Rockefeller University, NY, USA (2017)
Research Interests: Her work combines mouse genetics and imaging to study chromatin dynamics in cancer and aging. Key areas include:
- DSB repair mechanisms
- Chromatin mobility's impact on genome stability
- Cancer therapeutic vulnerabilities
