Francesco Zampognaro

Francesco Zampognaro is an Associate Professor of Telecommunications Engineering at Link Campus University since 2024. He specializes in satellite systems and 5G networks, with over 30 funded projects in ICT and telecommunications research. He previously worked as a fixed-term researcher (RTD-A) at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" from 2019 to 2024.

As a fixed-term researcher at "Tor Vergata", he coordinated technical teams for 30+ projects while teaching courses like "Satellite Systems" and "Telecommunications Networks". He has presented at international conferences and seminars globally.

Francesco's professional affiliations include collaborations with UCLA and the European Space Agency (ESA/ESTEC), where he worked as Young Graduate Trainee (YGT) in 2005.
